Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account and profile: your email address and user IDs; your name, profile photo and phone number if you choose to provide them. You can sign in with an email code or an available third-party sign-in option.
• Purchases: purchase history and transaction records for credits and memberships. Payments are processed through Apple In-App Purchase, Google Play Billing or Stripe for web card checkout. We do not store full card numbers.
• Activity: what you watch, viewing progress, likes, shows saved to My List, in-app search history and other app interactions.
• Content and messages: comments and other user content, messages with the in-app assistant, and information you send when contacting support or reporting content.
• Technical information: crash logs, diagnostics and device/push tokens used to operate the service and deliver notifications.

How we use information

We use information to provide app functionality, manage accounts, process and restore purchases, track viewing progress, operate comments and My List, deliver in-app and push notifications, and provide the in-app assistant.

We also use it for analytics, personalization, support, developer communications about the service, and fraud prevention. We send marketing communications only with your consent. You can withdraw marketing consent by contacting us, and manage push notification permissions in your device settings.

Assistant reports

If you report an assistant reply, we keep the reported reply and your preceding message with the report for review. We delete those report records 90 days after a decision.

Sharing and security

We do not sell your personal information. We use our service providers for hosting, video delivery, payments, email, crash reporting and other functions needed to operate DreamDance. They receive information needed to perform those services for us. We may also disclose information when required by law or needed to prevent fraud or meet legal obligations.

Comments and other content you post in public areas can be seen by other viewers. Avoid including private information in public posts.

Information is encrypted in transit. We use safeguards to protect it, but no transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and deletion

We retain information as needed for the purposes described in this policy and to meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account or personal information by emailing support@dreamdance.io. Account deletion steps are on our Delete account page.

Within 30 days of an account deletion request, we delete the account, profile, watch history, My List, comments, likes, assistant messages and push tokens, subject to the limited retention described here.

We may retain purchase and transaction records required for tax or accounting purposes for up to 7 years, and records needed for fraud prevention or legal obligations for as long as those purposes require. Reported assistant replies and preceding messages follow the report retention period described above, unless legal obligations require retention.

Your rights and choices

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to its use. This includes requests from California, European Union and United Kingdom residents under applicable privacy laws. Email support@dreamdance.io; we respond within 30 days. We may need to verify that the account or information belongs to you before completing a request.

You can also contact us to withdraw marketing consent or ask about our privacy practices.

Age requirements

DreamDance is for ages 13 and older and is not designed for children under 13. Viewers aged 13–17 should use the service with parental guidance where required. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
