Delete account

Option 1: In the DreamDance app

1. Open DreamDance.
2. Open the My (account) tab.
3. Open Settings.
4. Select Delete account.
5. Confirm your request.

Option 2: Email us

Send an email from the email address associated with your DreamDance account to support@dreamdance.io with the subject Delete my account.

State that you want your DreamDance account and associated data deleted. We may need to verify account ownership before completing the request. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or payment card details.

What we delete and when

We delete the following within 30 days of your request, subject to the limited retention below:

• Your account and profile, including your email, user ID and any optional name, photo or phone number.
• Your watch history, viewing progress, in-app search history and My List.
• Your comments, likes and other user content and app activity associated with the account.
• Your messages with the in-app assistant.
• Your device/push tokens.

Records we may retain

• Purchase and transaction records: records required for tax or accounting purposes may be kept for up to 7 years.
• Fraud prevention and legal obligations: records needed for these purposes may be kept for as long as those purposes require.
• Assistant report records: a reported reply and your preceding message are kept with the report for review and deleted 90 days after a decision, unless legal obligations require retention.

Cancel store subscriptions separately

Deleting your DreamDance account does not cancel store billing. If you bought a subscription through Apple or Google, cancel it in the store account used for the purchase:

• Apple billing: open your device Settings, select your store account, open Subscriptions, choose DreamDance, then select the cancellation option.
• Google billing: open Google Play, select your account, open Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Choose DreamDance and select Cancel subscription.
